How can I make money making comics?

I'm good at making comics and everyday i'm getting better but how can i really make money or just a small amount of it.

1. Some friends of mine in my highschool art classes went about selling their comics for about 25-50 cents each to different students in the school that were interested in them. They made a pretty good amount of money every week. I'd advise to do it after school though... since they got in trouble a few times for selling them on campus.
