What are some good money making techniques in World of Warcraft?

I've been playing WoW for quite a while now, with both a 70 hunter, 80 death knight and various other characters. The one thing that has always troubled me about the game is that I find it quite difficult to get large sums of gold in the game. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for making money (please no one suggest buying gold for real world money, that's just stupid)

1. Really depends. The gathering skills can work great for making money, but usually its best to couple them with other activities. Some people will do two gathering skills to maximize their time, while others may choose to do a craft. If you choose to go with two gathering classes, one should be skinning since you can only have one form of tracking on. Now this may not have been the answer you are looking for, though it works wonders, you may want to figure out a daily quest grind. Find a circuit of quests that you do not mind doing and repeat them daily for cash. My personal recommendation is to hit up the Argent Tournament dailies as you get champion seals that you can trade in for rewards. Three of the dailies as you start getting the city quests done gives you the choice of a bag of gold or a rep scroll as a reward, on these you want to choose the bag as it has a chance of giving you an extra champion seal as well. If at all possible hit up Heroic ToC once a day as well for the extra champion seals. Why am I telling you to farm for these seals? Simple, you will be trading them in for pets! Each city faction that you are a champion to allows you to buy certain items, like mounts or tabards. Each one also has a pet associated with it. These pets are sellable and worth roughly 600 gold a pop on my server, Kargath. Top that off with a quest grind that is worth over 100g a day (without adding others that are easy to work in on the way) and you can make some serious bank with only an hour or so a day of work. 2. i agree with what the other guy is saying about the dailies and the certain skills thats what i do but you can also when you lvl 80 run easy dingeons like Dire Maul and get runecloth and farm it to sell in the auction house thats what i do but im not 80 but you may only recieve a little bit of gold for each stack but allways put the lowest bid for an item and you will always get somone to buy out your item
3. Lvl Up The Mining Skill From 150 Onwards Big Cash Comes From What You Mine, Gold, Iron And Lower Lvl Silver, I Recently sold 4 silver bars for 16g wich is pretty good in my opinion
4. Primo saronites 23 frost emblems and you can get 2kg-3kg for them i have made 4.5kg so far off 2 of them also farming ores doing titansteel Cds everyday which can get you about 130-220g doing daily quests reg quests farming eternals such as the fire in WG , alch selling pots 30g or so a pot make sure you do the ones people need i only know of the rage one should be a good seller well i have to run hope this helps a little!
